A Construction Manager with Hospital fit-out experience is required for a high profile hospital project in Manama, Bahrain. The project has at least 12 months to run with opportunities to work on further projects beyond the end of this one. You will be working for a specialist Australian based hospital design firm, working closely with the client in Bahrain concerning the supervision of the appointed contractors on site. Main Requirements Hospital fit â€"out and / or refurbishment experience. At least 10 years experience working as a site Manager. Experience in the Middle East is ideal but not essential. Daily supervision of site based main and sub contractors. Liaison with construction and project managers concerning all matters on site providing regular updates and written reports. Liaison with design consultants to ensure best possible results and standards within the contracts. Co-ordination of trades and relevant site engineers. Monitoring of progress and safety and advising the project manager as necessary. This is a role on an interesting fast paced project working in a very ex-pat friendly country.
