In order to satisfy an existing contract we currently have a requirement for a Mooring Master to work with one of our clients in Libya on a rotation of 42 days work followed by 21 days leave.
Minimum Education requirement:
Appropriate marine education with qualification as Master Mariner, unlimited tonnage.
Validated certificate issued after 1995 as Deck Officer Class 1, Master Mariner.
Valid Tankerman’s Certificate.
Valid General Radio Operators Certificate, preferably GMDSS.
Candidates must have been/is presently Master or Chief Officer on large crude oil carrier for minimum 5 years.
Prior experience at single buoy or conventional buoy mooring would be a definite asset.
Applicants must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
