My Client is urgently seeking a Senior Manager of Drilling and Engineering to be responsible for the drilling operations of the Company ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years experience in drilling engineering and management of drilling operations in remote locations
- Superior knowledge of advanced drilling engineering techniques
- Advanced knowledge of PC based technical software and with office software suites, with the scope of producing programs, reports and organize or analyse well data
- Previous or current onshore experience in a number of locations such as the Middle East or South East Asia a plus
- Experience in managed pressure drilling and under balanced drilling advantageous
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervision and management of well construction drilling prognosis for Exploration and Development wells in a difficult and diverse environment
- Manage development and field application of the Company’s operational and technical practices and procedures
- Maintain a strong service quality focus and ensures that all equipment and service company personnel are in place
- Ensure the preparation and presentation of all operational and technical reports
This position will manage a staff of drilling and completions personnel performing the planning, engineering and execution of drilling and completion operations. You will be responsible for the preparation of the drilling program budget and organize proper cost control and ensuring that operations reporting systems are implemented and all staff are trained accordingly.
