Work Experience |
My 7 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry as cartographer and 3 years in Engineering Design Office as land surveyor include the following:
• Direct and supervises the activities of cartography unit in producing maps (Subsurface structure and Topographical), chars, graphs, diagrams.
• Direct the production of maps and diagrams from basic data, surveys, freehand sketches, notes or verbal instructions includes production of contour and maps, logging curves, core description and cross section of wells, composite logs. Taking the aesthetic part into consideration.
• Using(GIS) Geographical information systems to use and manage data.
• Ensure production on time and as per originator's requests and professional cartographic standards.
• Offers guidance to subordinates on production of such maps.
• Scanning & digitizing of data for transfer into Seisworks and Zmap+ software.
• Doing the survey and implantation for oil and gas pipelines and roads using advanced methods and instrument such as total station and GPS.
• Using Arial Photographs to produce maps (Photogrammetry)
• Montages and Posters for technical presentations and conferences.
• PowerPoint presentations
• Report generation: in paper and digital (PDF) format
• Responsible on the Laser printers and plotters (fixing their problem an purchasing spare parts)
