Set up the camp up from scratch in a minimal amount of time and with in budget. Wrote the scope of works and participated in the bidding of the Operations and maintenance contract as well as the Defac contract. Other duties were Civil’s Supervisor for the T.C.N’s, Camp Management, room allocation and O&M.
2003 Logistic Manager, Ess Compass Camp Iraq/ Kuwait
Managing over 200 staff and caring for their well being as well as staff training and stocktakes. Main responsibility was to find buildings in Kuwait and Iraq which would be suitable for Warehousing and distribution centres, for camps in Iraq camps. Established the computerised stock control systems for productive and efficient warehousing. Also set up the stock control systems for all the camps in Iraq and Kuwait and was nominated to purchase stock locally and overseas and coordinate transport to carry stock in to Iraq.
