I am looking for a role that will challenge my skills and expertise, I am a strong self starter and excel at taking charge and carrying out my essential duties and responsibilities with little or no supervision.
Ideally this would be a Project Management or a Construction Management position in S E Asia. I am particularly interested in Thailand as my first choice but will definitely consider all other Asia-S E Asia locations.
I prefer married status, single can be negotiated as long as I am able to have my wife accompnay me on my own. I have no school aged children, so having to provide schooling is not necessary.

Summary

My duties and responsibilities included managing numerous small subcontractors that had never worked within a structured QA-QC plan. It involved assisting them to write and implement QC plans to comply with state and federal regulations required FEMA and the USACE and performing quarterly audits to ensure compliance. Assist the subcontractors with the invoicing process to meet federal standards set forth by FEMA.

My experience, expertise, and knowledge of applying the applicable codes including the Chinese codes led to a successful outcome instead of costly delays.

SUPERVISOR FRANK HOPPLE CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR – SENIOR WWELDING ENGINEER-Responsible for formation and administering all subcontracts for piping and welding subcontractors. Negotiate and resolve any claims issue regarding claims made by the subcontractors. Monitoring all subcontractors welding on the site. My duties include documenting all daily activities performed by each subcontractor for compliance with their approved procedure and with Bechtel procedures. Provide input to sub contract formation for subcontracting of welding onsite and for third party off project inspection services. Teach welder orientation to new welders when they arrive onsite. Buy all welding tools, inspection devices, and consumables for any welding related activities project wide. Initiate FSR / PSR for purchase of materials and services. The short duration on this project was due to the U. S. government taking the budget for the war in Iraq and hurricane Katrina. 2500 laid off from this site.

My responsibilities included managing a diverse staff of up to 16 Field Engineers building the 9 Vent Buildings simultaneously, coordinating daily activities across multi disciplines and several contractors. I was also be responsible for tracking, negotiating, and reviewing claims, processing daily quantities, processing bi monthly pay requisitions from 4-12 million dollars a month. This was a very complex project on an accelerated schedule. This work included slurry walls, deep cut and cover tunneling, micro tunneling, pipe jacking, support of excavation, mass excavation, mass concreting, paving, installation and erection of 135 centrifugal fans weighing 52 tons each, and the power distribution, testing, and turn over of all equipment to client.

PROJECT MANAGER. I was Project Manager for various mechanical contracts including M.W.R.A. contract 402/427 at Deer Island Waste-water Treatment Plant. Supervised a multi-discipline work force of up to 60 craft to install 12,000 ‘ of pipe with a value of $1.2 Million dollars. Piping included 20" Moeller district heating system, 16" digester gas, and 12" fuel oil line. All piping was installed to ASME or API related codes. Project Manager at Fore River Staging Area Sludge Facility, contract value $3.2 Million. Duties were to install the piping related to the pelletizing equipment and storage silos including liquid nitrogen fire suppression system, water main and valves. Project Manager for the Payson Park reservoir 42" ductile iron and rebuilt the 4 existing 100-year-old valves downstream of the reservoir project with a contract value of $400 thousand dollars.
